But they are also increa\u00adsin\u00adgly good at trans\u00adla\u00adting docu\u00admen\u00adts, detec\u00adting can\u00adcer in dia\u00adgno\u00adstic ima\u00adges, etc.<\/p>\n The goal of the\u00adse lec\u00adtu\u00adres is to intro\u00addu\u00adce stu\u00adden\u00adts to the social impact that algo\u00adri\u00adthms are having on our lives. Students will learn about the enor\u00admous power that is con\u00adcen\u00adtra\u00adting in the hands of the few com\u00adpa\u00adnies that con\u00adtrols the algo\u00adri\u00adthms and the total lack of trans\u00adpa\u00adren\u00adcy that sur\u00adrounds them.
