The goal of the fir\u00adst part is to intro\u00addu\u00adce the Python pro\u00adgram\u00adming lan\u00adgua\u00adge, one of the most wide\u00adly used scien\u00adti\u00adfic com\u00adpu\u00adting lan\u00adgua\u00adges, and to a col\u00adlec\u00adtion of libra\u00adries that can be used to ana\u00adly\u00adze&nbsp;data.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the modu\u00adle, stu\u00adden\u00adts are expec\u00adted&nbsp;to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Remember the syn\u00adtax and seman\u00adtics of the Python language;<\/li>\n<li>Understand pro\u00adgrams writ\u00adten by others individuals;<\/li>\n<li>Analyze a sim\u00adple data ana\u00adly\u00adsis task and refor\u00admu\u00adla\u00adte it as a pro\u00adgram\u00adming problem;<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate which fea\u00adtu\u00adres of the lan\u00adgua\u00adge (and rela\u00adted scien\u00adti\u00adfic libra\u00adries) can be used to sol\u00adve the&nbsp;task;<\/li>\n<li>Construct a Python pro\u00adgram that appro\u00adpria\u00adte\u00adly sol\u00adves the&nbsp;task;<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate the resul\u00adts of the program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Part &nbsp;B \u2014 Algorithms and data structures<\/h3>\n<p>Algorithmics is the scien\u00adce of algo\u00adri\u00adthms. It inclu\u00addes algo\u00adri\u00adthm desi\u00adgn, the art of buil\u00adding a pro\u00adce\u00addu\u00adre which can sol\u00adve cor\u00adrec\u00adtly and effi\u00adcien\u00adtly a pro\u00adblem; and algo\u00adri\u00adthm ana\u00adly\u00adsis, the scien\u00adce of quan\u00adti\u00adfy\u00ading the amount of resour\u00adces nee\u00added by an algo\u00adri\u00adthm to sol\u00adve a problem.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of this part is to intro\u00addu\u00adce stu\u00adden\u00adts to the desi\u00adgn and ana\u00adly\u00adsis of algo\u00adri\u00adth\u00admic solu\u00adtions, throu\u00adgh the pre\u00adsen\u00adta\u00adtion of the most impor\u00adtant class of algo\u00adri\u00adthms and the eva\u00adlua\u00adtion of their performance.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the modu\u00adle, stu\u00adden\u00adts are expec\u00adted&nbsp;to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>eva\u00adlua\u00adte algo\u00adri\u00adth\u00admic choi\u00adces and select the ones that best suit their problems;<\/li>\n<li>ana\u00adly\u00adze the com\u00adple\u00adxi\u00adty of exi\u00adsting algo\u00adri\u00adthms and algo\u00adri\u00adthms crea\u00adted on their&nbsp;own;<\/li>\n<li>desi\u00adgn sim\u00adple algo\u00adri\u00adth\u00admic solu\u00adtions to sol\u00adve basic problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is the (old) web page of too many cour\u00adses.
