What distin\u00adgui\u00adshes ASD<\/span> from other cour\u00adses is its annual sche\u00addu\u00adle, which runs from September to May.<\/p>\n

DS2<\/span><\/a>, DS2<\/span>,has under\u00adgo\u00adne seve\u00adral name chan\u00adges throu\u00adghout its histo\u00adry. It was pre\u00adviou\u00adsly cal\u00adled \u201cSistemi distri\u00adbui\u00adti: teo\u00adria,\u201d then \u201cDistributed Systems,\u201d and later \u201cDistributed Algorithms.\u201d The cour\u00adse\u2019s cur\u00adrent name reflec\u00adts its pla\u00adce in a two-part series, with DS1<\/span> taught by Prof. Gian Pietro Picco and DS2<\/span> taught by me. DS1<\/span> covers the basic con\u00adcep\u00adts rela\u00adted to distri\u00adbu\u00adted systems and is inten\u00added for 1st-year stu\u00adden\u00adts in the 2nd seme\u00adster. DS2<\/span> del\u00adves into more advan\u00adced con\u00adcep\u00adts, with a focus on distri\u00adbu\u00adted algo\u00adri\u00adthms, and is desi\u00adgned for 2nd-year stu\u00adden\u00adts in the 1st semester.<\/p>\n

LCSE<\/span><\/a> star\u00adted in 2019\/20, as part of the \u201c24 cre\u00addit path\u201d to beco\u00adme a tea\u00adcher.
